Bed Rest

Well the past month and a half has been interesting. I was on modified bed rest until yesterday. I am 21 weeks prego and things are looking normal at the moment. I was having some complications, but like I said things are looking normal now. Hopefully that is the way it stays! We will be having a boy sometime around Jan 4. Noah would like to name him two, but I don't think that will happen:) We are excited and just a huge thank you to everyone who has helped us out the last while. We had Trent's Mom and two nieces come, my Mom, and my Sister in law come to stay with us. I really appreciated all of them coming and helping.
So, I had lot of time on my hands. I was going crazy not exercising, cleaning and just being normal! It was nice to have people here to visit, it kept my mind of things and kept Noah occupied as well:)
I finished a few projects that have been lying around. The picture above is necklace board I made. Thanks to Alicia for the idea! This was from a super Saturday that I never did, until now.

Menu board. Also from super Saturday.

I got to read a bit:) I love reading and read some good ones.
  1. Peculiar in a Good Way, Mary Ellen Edmunds
  2. The Princess Bride, William Goldman (I had seen the movie before, but I did enjoy the book. A bit different of course)
  3. Murder by the Book, Betsy Brannon Green
  4. Smoke Screen, Traci Hunter Abramson
  5. Escape from Rwanda, John Yves Bizimana (Really enjoyed this true story. It was quite shocking to read mostly because he is the same age as me.)
  6. The Time Starved Family, Deanne Flynn
  7. Lipstick Wars, Christine Thackeray
  8. Leaning into the Curves, Nancy Anderson, Carroll Hoffling Morris
  9. Bitten, Robert Smith
  10. The Hiding Place, Corrie Ten Boom (Everyone should read this. True story.)
  11. Faith Among Shadows, Malcolm Leal (Another True story. Must read)
  12. The Roots of Obama's Rage, Dinesh D'Souza ( I know the title sounds crazy but this really is a must read. Really explains what makes Obama tick and why he does the things he does.)
I am currently reading The Original Argument, by Glenn Beck. So far so good. It has been the summer of reading!

Something else I finally did. This was supposed to be for a Father's Day gift from Noah. I just never got around to putting it together. Better late than never, right?!
