Trent ran the Seattle Rock n' Roll 1/2 marathon on Saturday. He did awesome! His time was 1:51. I have to say I am way jealous. He trained very little, I mean VERY LITTLE! He is just amazing and pulled it off. My best 1/2 mary time was 1:50 and I trained like nobody's business! So yes, I am jealous:) Enough about me.
There were 26,000 people who crossed the start line that morning. Insane! Tons and tons of people. Traffic was crazy. I dropped Trent off at the start line. Well technically, it was three miles from the start line. He had to run three miles just to get to the start line! Traffic was so backed up that he jumped out of the car, because it was getting so close to seven he wasn't going to make it if I drove him. He had a bit of a warm up:)
I then headed to the finish line which was at Quest Field and near Safe Co Field. I got there in good time and just camped out until he crossed the finish. We stayed at Jonathan's and Alicia's the night before. We had to leave at 5:30 in the AM. So we just left Noah there. We love having them in Seattle. And no not just so they can babysit! We love hanging out with them! After the race we went to Olive Garden and had lunch with them. They are the greatest!

Awesome medal. P.S. This marathon is part of the Rock n' Roll series which started in San Diego? Anyhow, they are now held annually in other cities.

All done!!!! The weather was perfect for running. Trent said that all throughout the course there where bands, and cheerleaders. He said the course was great. No big hills! I am totally doing this next year:)

Haha! I took a picture of where I parked. It was an outdoor parking lot. It is kinda hard to tell, but it is by where the bus is. The reason for this was because last time we parked in Seattle we forgot what parking garage we parked in and it took us quite a while to find it!
This was awesome! I got to see the finisher of the 1/2 marathon cross. This picture is blurry but they were running so fast. They were neck to neck! I think the guy that won was from Meridian Idaho and it was his first 1/2 marathon. Pretty cool!
